THE DATASET - Measures: comprehension process, not speed or decoding - Institutions: 25 (24 schools and 1 university), Gujarat and Pune, Tier-1 metro to Tier-3 town - Grades: 3 to 12 and college level - Scale: 100-800, comparable across grades and years (ARIA: Analytical Report of Intellectual Architecture) - Structure: standardised, longitudinal, growing - Proprietary: scoring method and model are not disclosed - Shareable: aggregate, de-identified patterns and findings, under partnership DATA PRIVACY - No individual student, parent, or school data is shared, sold, or exposed. - Only aggregate, de-identified insights inform any research or model work. - Handled under strict data-privacy standards. HEADLINE FINDING: THE COMPREHENSION CLIFF In the schools measured so far (Gujarat sample, 2026), the share of students reading at grade level falls sharply across the transition years, from a majority in the early grades toward near zero by Grade 8. Stated as a specific finding, not a national claim. WHY IT MAY INTEREST AN AI LAB 1. It records the process of human comprehension, not only finished output. 2. It cannot be scraped; it is collected deliberately, the same way, over time. 3. It maps where and when human understanding breaks down. 4.
